Beginnings
Nautica Thorn was born June 13, 1984 in Hawaii as an only child. She is half Japanese, a quarter Hawaiian, and a quarter Puerto Rican, which resulted in her unique appearance. She has always said she has enjoyed sex since an early age, saying that she first kissed a boy at age twelve, gave oral sex to a boy at age thirteen, and lost her virginity at fourteen. Her first job growing up was as a lei greeter (girls who adorn visitors with large petal necklaces) at the airport in Hawaii and claims to have been one of the best.

As she grew older, her decision to move to the mainland brought her to California where she became an exotic dancer. In 2002 at the ripe age of nineteen Nautica decided that she wanted to star in quality adult movies. The move to adult entertainment was spurred by an agent approaching her when she was dancing and offered her nude modeling opportunities. Her first appearances were in a string of pro-am films like Up N Cummers 116, paving the way to her first major adult movie releases in the year 2003.

Career
As AVN's Best New Starlet nominee in 2005 Nautica Thorn made big waves in the industry. She has appeared in over 175 films to date and shows no signs of slowing down. In June of 2006, Nautica announced that she was starting her own production company Nautica Thorn Productions Inc. and is dedicated to making the highest quality adult videos possible to satisfy her fans.

She has accompanied Adult Super Star Tera Patrick at signings around the country and continues feature dancing, selling out every club she appears at. Nautica has been featured in numerous adult magazine like Fox , Playboy , Genesis , Club, and Hustler just to name a few and is continuously sought after to appear in mainstream movies and television shows.
